Senior Cybersecurity Engineer – OT / Critical Infrastructure<br />North East | Hybrid We’re looking for a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer with strong IEC 62443 (essential) knowledge to join a team working on the protection of critical infrastructure and industrial environments.<br />This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong cybersecurity background who wants to develop further within Operational Technology (OT), IEC 62443. Industrial Control Systems (ICS), and secure engineering solutions.

Key responsibilities:

Design and support secure cybersecurity architectures across projects.<br />Develop cybersecurity models aligned to industry standards.<br />Support Product &amp; Solution Security activities across engineering teams.<br />Manage Cyber Security Test activities, including FAT and SAT.<br />Identify improvements to security processes and overall security posture.<br />Provide cybersecurity guidance across project teams. Essential experience: Strong cybersecurity background.<br />Experience within OT / ICS, industrial automation, or critical infrastructure security.<br />Knowledge of IEC 62443 (essential).<br />Understanding of standards such as IEC 62351, IEC 61850 and NIS2.<br />Exposure to OT networks and security technologies including firewalls, IDS/IPS, IPSec and SSL/TLS.<br />Strong stakeholder communication skills. Desirable: CISSP, GICSP, CISA or similar certifications.<br />Experience with substation automation, virtualisation, networking or cloud technologies.
