Overview

We are seeking a hands-on OCI Engineer to support day-to-day operations, configuration, and troubleshooting across our Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environment. This is an execution-focused role — the ideal candidate is comfortable working directly in the console/CLI/APIs to configure, maintain, and troubleshoot cloud services, rather than a design/strategy-only architect. This resource will also support Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) administration, Oracle Database (ATP) administration and tuning, and full-stack Disaster Recovery execution.

Key Responsibilities

•            Perform hands-on configuration and administration of OCI networking, including security list/NSG rule management

•            Monitor and respond to OCI Cloud Guard alerts; support security posture management

•            Administer and maintain OCI API Gateway deployments and configurations

•            Configure, manage, and troubleshoot OCI Load Balancers

•            Perform day-to-day OCI functional administration across core services

•            Manage secrets and credentials using OCI Vault

•            Administer Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), including custom Disaster Recovery configurations

•            Administer Oracle Autonomous Transaction Processing (ATP) databases, including performance tuning of custom SQL

•            Execute full-stack Disaster Recovery setups, run DR test plans, and document results

•            Support automation and operational efficiency using scripting (Python, Shell, etc.)

•            Apply working knowledge of AI-related tools/services as they intersect with OCI operations

•            Collaborate with cross-functional teams (security, database, application) to ensure environment stability and compliance

Required Skills & Experience

•            OCI Architect Professional certification required (certification required even though role is hands-on/engineering-focused)

•            Strong hands-on experience with OCI Networking — security rule management (Security Lists, NSGs, Route Tables)

•            Familiarity with OCI Security tools, specifically Cloud Guard

•            Experience administering OCI API Gateway

•            Experience administering OCI Load Balancer

•            Solid OCI functional/general administration experience

•            Experience with OCI Vault for secrets/credential management

•            Hands-on OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud) administration experience

•            Experience with OIC Custom DR configuration

•            Oracle Database ATP administration experience, including performance tuning of custom SQL

•            Demonstrated experience executing full-stack DR setups and DR testing

•            Scripting proficiency (Python, Shell, or similar)

•            General familiarity with AI tools/concepts as applied to cloud operations
