Job Description

HSM Migration Engineer II

Introduction

As an HSM Migration Engineer II, you will be responsible for supporting enterprise HSM environments and performing HSM-to-HSM migrations. You will work within financial services, payment processing, or highly regulated environments to administer HSM platforms and ensure compliance with security standards. This role requires extensive experience in Linux and Windows Server administration, cryptography, key management, and payment security technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Support enterprise HSM environments
  • Perform HSM-to-HSM migrations
  • Administer HSM platforms in production enterprise environments
  • Work within financial services, payment processing, or highly regulated environments
  • Document migration procedures, operational runbooks, and security controls
  • Troubleshoot enterprise infrastructure or security systems

Requirements

Required Skills

  • 8 years of experience supporting enterprise HSM environments
  • 5 years performing HSM-to-HSM migrations
  • 5 years administering HSM platforms in production enterprise environments
  • 6 years working within financial services, payment processing, or highly regulated environments
  • 6 years of Linux administration experience
  • 9 years of Windows Server administration experience
  • 9 years of experience with cryptography and key management concepts
  • 9 years working with payment security technologies (EMV, PIN encryption, tokenization, transaction security, etc.)
  • 9 years supporting PCI-DSS, NIST, or other security/compliance standards
  • 9 years troubleshooting enterprise infrastructure or security systems
  • 9 years documenting migration procedures, operational runbooks, or security controls
  • 9 years of experience with cloud-integrated or hybrid HSM environments
