Scheduling Education Coordinator

Schedule: Full-Time | Contract-to-Hire
Work Setting: Primarily Onsite (Monday-Friday)
Seeking an Education Coordinator with strong Epic Cadence experience to support scheduling staff training, onboarding, education compliance, and competency programs.
Responsibilities

• Deliver training and onboarding for scheduling staff.
• Serve as the Epic Cadence subject matter expert for scheduling workflows.
• Coordinate education sessions, track training completion, and maintain records.
• Support compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, and organizational requirements.
• Develop training materials and provide ongoing staff education.
• Prepare reports and support audit readiness initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience with Epic Cadence (Scheduling Module).
• Epic Certification/Credentialing or ability to obtain within one year.
• Previous trainer, educator, lead, or onboarding experience.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Experience managing multiple priorities in a healthcare environment.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Norfolk, VA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
