Customer Solutions Engineer (Customer Support): Provide trusted technical advisory and support to Enterprise customers throughout their lifecycle, ensuring full utilization of Cloudflare's platform with an accent on internet protocols, security, and performance. Focus on troubleshooting complex issues, delivering onboarding, and collaborating cross-functionally to drive customer success and retention.

What you will do

• Serve as a trusted technical advisor and support Enterprise customers to maximize value from Cloudflare products
• Collaborate closely with Customer Success Managers and cross-functional teams including Sales, Engineering, and Support
• Deliver timely onboarding and technical best practices guidance to customers
• Drive customer retention and expansion through relationship building and technical expertise
• Assist with technical escalations and proactively identify opportunities for customer growth
• Contribute to knowledge sharing through documentation and internal/external Q&A

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Sydney, Australia
• 5+ years of post-sales customer relationship management experience
• Strong understanding of internet protocols (TCP/IP, TLS, DNS, HTTP) and security technologies (Firewalls, WAFs, Bot Management, Zero Trust)
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Bash
• Ability to manage projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
• Willingness to travel 20-50% for customer meetings and industry events

Nice to have

• Knowledge of regulatory requirements like PCI DSS, HIPAA, and SOC-2
