Job Details:

We are seeking an experienced Ab Initio Technical Lead to design, develop, and lead the implementation of enterprise-scale ETL and data integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in Ab Initio development, performance optimization, and technical architecture, with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. This role also requires leadership skills to mentor development teams, drive best practices, and ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

ETL Development

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable Ab Initio graphs and Continuous Flows for processing high-volume data.
• Build robust, reusable, and high-performance ETL solutions that meet business and technical requirements.
• Develop and maintain complex data integration workflows across multiple systems.

Technical Architecture & Design

• Analyze business requirements and convert them into technical designs and solution architectures.
• Create component design documents, technical specifications, and data models.
• Define ETL design standards and best practices.

Performance Optimization

• Optimize Ab Initio graphs for maximum efficiency and scalability.
• Implement data parallelism, partitioning, and memory optimization techniques.
• Tune ETL processes to improve execution time and resource utilization.

Code Governance & Release Management

• Manage code versions, tags, and deployments across Development, Test, UAT, and Production environments.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, version control, and release management processes.
• Support environment migrations and deployment activities.

Production Support

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent solutions.
• Ensure high availability and reliability of ETL applications.

Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor onshore/offshore development teams.
• Conduct design reviews, code reviews, and technical mentoring.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and project managers to deliver quality solutions.

Required Skills

• Expert-level experience with Ab Initio (GDE, Co>Operating System, EME, Express>It, Continuous Flows)
• Strong Unix/Linux Shell Scripting skills
