Description:

The analyst will operate as an embedded SME resource within the client's Advanced Fusion Center, performing client-directed tasks within designated coverage hours. The role focuses on unifying security data across disparate sources and translating it into actionable reporting, dashboards, and business intelligence that inform security posture and decision-making. All work is performed at the client's direction using client-owned infrastructure and systems only.

Key Responsibilities:

• Unify data sources and leverage Tableau to provide real-time reporting and business intelligence across a wide set of data sources
• Support vulnerability reporting, including patch management data, endpoint security status, and firewall/device firmware updates
• Create dashboards that track compliance metrics (e.g., NIST, GDPR, CIS) to identify risks
• Deploy Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) to showcase security posture and operational risks
• Support threat intelligence visualization, including threat actor patterns, incident response times, and anomaly detection logs
• Perform data ingestion, transformation, and analysis across a large set of discrete data sources
• Partner with business stakeholders and domain experts to establish KPIs and support decision-making
• Use data storytelling techniques to effectively communicate insights

Baseline Skillsets:

• Proactively and reactively troubleshoot common issues within their field of expertise
• Base experience in cloud, containerization, and other modern design patterns
• Modern problem solving and design patterns: basic scripting, cloud, and automation
• Critical thinking skills "beyond runbooks" and problem solving
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
