Network Engineer

Our client, a leader in automotive technology and innovation, is seeking a Network Engineer to join their team. As a Network Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting the Vehicle Connectivity and Systems Integration teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate enthusiasm, innovation, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Network Engineer

Location: Scottsdale, AZ

Pay Range: $52/hour + Benefits

What's the Job?

• Develop, document, review, and execute hardware validation for Ethernet-connected devices
• Collaborate with design and system engineers to characterize the functional performance of vehicle Ethernet systems
• Work with suppliers to clarify requirements and review validation documentation
• Develop custom test assets, setups, and Python scripts to enable efficient testing
• Draft and present test plans, design reviews, and data reviews, ensuring thorough documentation and communication

What's Needed?

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
• 6+ years of professional experience in network testing and validation
• Hands-on experience testing Automotive Ethernet products and troubleshooting issues
• Experience using Ethernet lab equipment such as Ixia or Spirent
• Familiarity with IEEE 802.1AS Ethernet standards for Time Synchronization
