we are a Tier 1 vendor for the City and County of San Francisco for Cloud Services, Staffing Services and Training Services. For this multi-year opportunity with a diverse set of needs to address, we are currently focusing on establishing partnerships with individuals as well as companies who can help us enhance our overall service portfolio, cut lead times, and ultimately help us deliver successfully. We currently hold sizable Government accounts in the San Francisco bay area including City and County of San Francisco, San Mateo County, and Santa Clara County.

Roles/Responsibilities:

  • Develop web mapping applications
  • Provide geospatial web services, including WCS, WMS, WFS, and Esri web services
  • Developing in multiple languages/ protocols with expertise in at least one (ASP.NET, C#, Java, CIC++, VB.NET, JavaScript, XML, Python, PHP, Perl, ruby, bash, sh, JSON, HTML5, AJAX, SOA, WCF)

Mandatory Skills:

4+ years' Experience:

  1. Experience in developing custom web-based GIS applications which products such as ESRI, MapBox, CartoDB, etc.
  2. Proven experience with open JavaScript libraries such as Dojo, jQuery, Ext JS, Yahoo, etc.
  3. Experience with application-level protocols (HTTP, DNS, SMTP, SNMP, FTP, RPC, PPTP, IPSec)
  4. Extensive experience with web programming (HTML, client-side scripting, AJAX)
