Job Description

Point Solutions Group, a ClearanceJobs company, is seeking a Systems Administrator for our team in Springfield, VA.

Responsibilities will include, but not limited to

Perform system security administration functions, including managing customer accounts and access through Active Directory
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct system issues across the operating environment
Plan, test, install, and integrate new and upgraded operating systems, third-party software components, and subsystems
Monitor and manage system resources to optimize operating efficiency and performance
Perform custom software installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance Minimum Qualifications:
2 years of IT experience with Windows Active Directory, Windows Server administration, monitoring and configuration tools, VMware, storage solutions, and cross-domain solutions
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline
Security+ cert required at start.

Either SSCP, CISSP, or CASP+ within 6 months of employment

Preferred Qualifications

DOD 8570 IAT I: Active SSCP, CISSP, or CASP+ Clearance Requirements:
Active TS/SCI Clearance with a current Full Scope Polygraph required before start Location:
Springfield, VA
On-site (classified/SCIF environment) The schedule is five days a week with core hours from 10a.m. to 3p.m., offering flexibility outside those times. However, the mission takes priority, so may need to start earlier or stay later as required. Remote work is not available.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time, operate standard office equipment such as a computer, keyboard, and telephone, and occasionally move about the work environment.
