Mobile Service Engineer – Rotary & Mechanical Equipment Location: Chesterfield / Nationwide Travel Salary: £35,000 – £37,000 + Overtime A well-established Chesterfield-based organisation is looking to expand its team of Mobile Service Engineers.

This is a varied, hands-on role involving regular travel across the UK and working with rotary and mechanical equipment. Full training is provided, along with genuine opportunities for long-term career development within a growing and supportive business. The Role As a Mobile Service Engineer, you will:

Service, maintain, and repair rotary and mechanical machinery at customer sites Travel nationwide, with occasional periods working away from home Diagnose faults and carry out mechanical repairs efficiently Work to high safety, quality, and performance standards Represent the company professionally on client sites What We’re Looking For Experience or working knowledge of mechanical machinery (rotary equipment experience highly desirable) Background in engineering, maintenance, or machine handling Full UK driving licence Flexibility to work away from home for extended periods Willingness to work weekends, bank holidays, and nights when required Reliable, committed team player with a positive attitude Functional literacy skills for reports and documentation What’s on Offer Salary: £35,000 – £37,000, plus overtime Enhanced overtime rates for weekends and additional hours Accommodation paid when working away, including evening meals Company van provided Company pension scheme ‘On call’ arrangement to ensure ongoing work between projects Full training and professional development Modern, state-of-the-art head office facilities Supportive and friendly management team Important:
