Senior Credit Risk Officer | Private Banking | London | Permanent

An exceptional opportunity has arisen to join a prestigious private bank in London as a Senior Credit Risk Officer , playing a pivotal role in safeguarding the bank's lending portfolio while partnering closely with Relationship Managers and senior stakeholders.

This is a highly analytical, front-office-facing credit risk role, ideal for an experienced Private Banking Credit Risk professional looking to work across complex lending structures and sophisticated client portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily monitoring of Lombard lending and insurance policy shortfalls

• Managing collateral breaches, margin calls and remediation plans

• Portfolio simulations, stress testing and market impact analysis

• Reviewing complex lending applications for Local Credit Committee

• Deputising for the Head of Credit Risk when required

• Supporting lending operations, payment validation and loan approvals

• Working with sophisticated financial instruments and structured products

We're looking for:

✔ 3-5+ years' experience in Private Banking Credit Risk

✔ Strong understanding of Lombard lending and collateral management

✔ Excellent knowledge of financial markets, securities and derivatives including Structured Products, ETFs, Hedge Funds, Bonds, FX Forwards, Options and Futures

✔ Experience working with high-net-worth client lending

✔ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, particularly during periods of market volatility

✔ Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
