Senior QA Automation Engineer

📍 Location: Jersey City, NJ – Hybrid
⏳ Duration: 24 Months
💼 Experience: 10+ Years
📄 Employment: W2 Only – Must be willing to work on our payroll

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in financial applications, Global Markets, backend testing, SQL, and Python automation.

🔥 Must-Have Skills

10+ years of QA Testing experience
Large-scale financial applications
Global Markets / Capital Markets / Trading domain experience
Strong backend testing experience
5+ years of hands-on SQL and Python
Complex SQL queries and Python scripting
Functional, Integration, Regression, Performance and Automation Testing
Test planning and requirements analysis
Test scenario and test case design
Octane or similar test management tools
Strong analytical and data-driven thinking
Reference Data, Market Data and Trading Data
Understanding of end-to-end trading flows
Strong technical troubleshooting skills

🤖 AI Experience

Experience with AI-based tools for data analysis, testing automation, or process optimization
Ability to leverage AI capabilities to improve testing workflows

🎯 Responsibilities

Analyze requirements and create test plans
Design complex integration and test scenarios
Develop manual and automated test scripts
Perform functional, integration, regression and performance testing
Collaborate with development and QA teams
Manage defects through the complete lifecycle
Troubleshoot technical and data-related issues
Ensure testing artifacts meet change-management standards
