Job Description

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience integrating software products within complex system-of-systems environments.
  • Experience in administering, maintaining, and supporting Linux-based systems, preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 8/9.
  • Experience in supporting containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker in a microservices architecture.
  • Experience with systems administration, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps practices.
  • Experience supporting enterprise Java application environments, including Apache Tomcat, Java SE (JRE/JDK), and related middleware.
  • Experience with Ansible, Jenkins, and GitLab.
  • Certifications: Security+ CE Responsibilities:
  • Administer, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize enterprise Java applications running on Apache Tomcat. Support application build, packaging, deployment, and release activities using Apache Ant and Gradle build tools.
  • Administer and support application deployments in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 8/9 and Microsoft Windows Server environments.
  • Support CI/CD pipeline administration and application deployments using Jenkins and GitLab.
  • Support enterprise storage, networking, and system connectivity required for application hosting and operations.
  • Monitor application and system performance, troubleshoot production issues, and implement corrective actions to ensure system availability, reliability, and performance.
  • Collaborate with software developers, systems administrators, cybersecurity personnel, and test teams to support application deployment, sustainment, and operational readiness.
