The Role

• Produce clear, concise, and accurate technical and programmatic documentation, including user manuals, guides, white papers, and design specifications.
• Gather information by interviewing subject matter experts and conducting independent research to effectively convey complex technical material.
• Collaborate with program managers, functional leads, engineers, and developers to collect necessary technical details for documentation.
• Organize and structure content according to customer templates and program requirements, developing templates and frameworks for consistency.
• Manage documentation and version control using tools such as Confluence and SharePoint.
• Adapt writing style and complexity to suit different target audiences and ensure adherence to compliance and standards.

What You'll Need

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of related work experience in technical writing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and specialized documentation tools (e.g., MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker).
• Familiarity with markup languages such as HTML and XML.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and attention to detail skills.
