Functional Lead- Oracle Cloud Recruiting Module

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Functional Lead - Oracle Cloud Recruiting Module based in the United States.

We are seeking an experienced Functional Lead to drive the implementation, configuration, and optimization of Oracle Cloud Recruiting solutions. In this role, you will lead functional delivery initiatives, translating complex business requirements into scalable recruitment and onboarding workflows. You will work closely with clients, business stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure successful implementations aligned with organizational goals. As a trusted advisor, you will guide clients through process improvements, system configuration decisions, testing, and deployment activities. Your expertise will help streamline talent acquisition operations, enhance user experiences, and maximize the value of Oracle Cloud technology. Accountabilities:

• Lead the functional implementation of the Oracle Cloud Recruiting module, ensuring solutions align with client business objectives, operational requirements, and recruitment strategies.
• Configure and customize Oracle Recruiting Cloud functionality to address client-specific requirements and deliver effective, scalable solutions.
• Design, develop, and coordinate end-to-end recruiting and onboarding workflows, including process orchestration and optimization.
• Facilitate client workshops and discovery sessions to gather business requirements, assess existing processes, and translate stakeholder needs into functional specifications.
• Advise clients on Oracle Recruiting best practices, recruitment process design, and opportunities to improve efficiency and user experience.
• Collaborate with technical teams, integration specialists, and other project stakeholders to ensure seamless system integration, accurate data flows, and consistent solution delivery.
• Lead client-facing discussions, presentations, and functional reviews, serving as a trusted advisor throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Coordinate and support functional testing, user acceptance testing, training, and deployment activities to ensure system readiness and successful adoption.
• Troubleshoot functional issues, identify root causes, and implement effective resolutions during implementation and post-go-live support.
• Maintain clear functional documentation, configuration records, and process specifications to support implementation quality and long-term system maintenance.
• Work closely with project teams to monitor progress, resolve functional challenges, and ensure deliverables meet agreed requirements and timelines.
• Conduct client-site visits when required to support workshops, implementation activities, stakeholder engagement, or project delivery.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Between 5 and 8 or more years of experience working with Oracle Cloud Recruiting and Onboarding modules, including functional configuration and implementation.
• Demonstrated experience delivering full-cycle Oracle Cloud Recruiting implementations, from requirements gathering and solution design through testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
• Strong understanding of recruitment and onboarding workflows, process orchestration, configuration options, and talent acquisition best practices.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into functional solutions that meet client needs and support efficient recruitment operations.
• Experience facilitating client workshops, leading functional discussions, delivering presentations, and managing stakeholder expectations.
• Strong client-facing and consulting skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and provide practical recommendations.
• Excellent communication, documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to explain complex functional concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and collaborate effectively with distributed teams in a remote environment.
• Willingness and ability to travel to client sites as required.
• Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, and/or logistics environments is a significant advantage.
• A proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused approach, with a commitment to delivering high-quality implementations and continuous process improvement.
