Job Description

Traffic Management Systems Operator || Contract || Onsite- Knoxville, TN

Position: Transportation Technician/ Traffic Management Systems Operator
Position Time: Contract. (Initially for 5 months).
Interview: First video than onsite.
Work Mode: Onsite. (overnight shift): 10:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Duties of the position:
Identify complex issues and escalate them to a supervisor.
Operate traffic management systems to manage traffic and incidents.
Monitor roadways using surveillance cameras and detection systems.
Monitor traffic devices and associated computer systems.
Maintain knowledge of traffic equipment, software, and systems.
Understand roadway layouts and traffic device locations.
Coordinate with multiple agencies during traffic incidents.
Perform other assigned duties.

Qualifications and Experience:
Customer Service experience (highly preferred)
Solid communication skills
Basic computer knowledge
Operational knowledge of MS Office and MS Outlook
Dispatch or call center experience (highly preferred)
