Principal Google Cloud AI Architect

Role Overview

We are seeking a hands-on AI Architect to design and implement a predictive decision intelligence system that increases student enrollment conversion. This role will lead the architecture of a machine learning solution that prioritizes high-risk prospects, recommends next-best actions, and integrates with Salesforce.

This is a high-impact role combining data science, ML engineering, and enterprise system integration using Google Cloud (BigQuery, Vertex AI).

Key Responsibilities

AI & Predictive Modeling

• Design and build ML models predicting enrollment conversion probability
• Develop feature engineering pipelines from Salesforce engagement data
• Implement risk scoring and prioritization systems
• Evaluate model performance and business impact

AI Architecture

• Architect scalable ML systems using:
• BigQuery
• Vertex AI
• Feature stores
• Real-time inference APIs
• Design decision intelligence systems combining ML + rules

LLM & GenAI Layer (Selective)

• Implement AI-generated summary explanations
• Generate next-best-action suggestions
• Personalize outreach content (SMS/email)

Integration & Enterprise Systems

• Integrate AI services with Salesforce
• Design pilot architecture outside Salesforce
• Build reusable AI services for future embedding

Governance & Optimization

• Ensure high-quality data inputs
• Monitor model drift
• Improve model continuously with feedback loops

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years in AI/ML engineering or architecture
• Deep experience with Google Cloud Platform
• Strong hands-on expertise in:
• Vertex AI
• BigQuery ML
• Python ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, XGBoost)
• Experience building:
• Risk scoring models
• Recommendation systems
• Decision engines
• Experience integrating AI systems with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in higher education enrollment systems
• Experience building predictive retention/conversion models
• Experience working with Civitas or education analytics platforms
• Experience embedding AI into Salesforce Lightning components
