IT Data & Platform Engineer

Our client is looking for a talented Graduate Data & Platform Engineer to join their IT Data & Platform team, where you'll play a key role in designing, developing and maintaining cutting-edge data solutions within Microsoft Fabric.

You'll build and optimise data pipelines, lakehouses and data warehouses, using PySpark, Python, T-SQL and DAX to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions that drive business intelligence and analytics.<br />Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you'll develop robust, secure and well-documented data platforms while embracing a code-first approach, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Git version control and Azure DevOps.

You'll monitor platform performance, ensure data quality and compliance, and continually seek opportunities to enhance business operations through innovative data engineering solutions.<br />We're looking for someone with at least three years' experience in Data Engineering and hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake or similar cloud platforms.

You'll have strong Python/PySpark skills, experience integrating with APIs, and a background in Agile development. If you're a detail-oriented problem solver with excellent analytical skills, a passion for learning and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions, we'd love to hear from you
