Salary:OTE £60,000.00 +

The Role

We are recruiting for an experienced Pump Engineer / Pump Service Engineer to join a well-established and growing specialist water pump service provider, operating across the Kent and London areas.

This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the UKs leading providers of pump solutions, drainage services, and water management systems, supporting both domestic and commercial customers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the service, maintenance, repair, and installation of a wide range of pumps and associated pumping equipment, working across sewage stations, underground pump stations, booster sets, and pressurisation units.

This role would suit an engineer with strong mechanical and electrical knowledge looking for long-term stability, strong earning potential, and ongoing training and development.

Key Responsibilities

Service, maintain, repair, and install a wide range of pump systems and associated equipment

Work across domestic and commercial pump installations

Carry out fault-finding and diagnostics on mechanical and electrical pump systems

Attend breakdowns and emergency callouts when required

Work on equipment including sewage stations, underground pump stations, booster sets, and pressurisation units

Ensure all work is completed in line with company Health & Safety procedures

Complete job reports and service documentation accurately

Support customers with technical advice and on-site problem-solving

Work both independently and as part of a wider engineering team

Key Requirements

Previous experience working on pumps or associated pumping equipment

Good mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills

Strong practical engineering background

Full UK Driving Licence

Proactive and reliable approach to work

Ability to travel across the region as required

Comfortable working independently and managing workloads

Willingness to work on-call and attend emergency situations

Physically capable of accessing pump stations and related infrastructure

Highly Desirable:

17th or 18th Edition qualification

Experience within wastewater, drainage, or sewage pumping systems

Salary & Benefits

OTE £60,000.00 +

Circa 50 hours per week (more hours available)

Weekly overtime available (Enhanced Rate)

Further enhanced overtime rates for Sundays and Bank Holidays
