Technical Analyst & Developer for ESG/Sustainability (f/m/d) - September 2026

For a client project we are looking for a Technical Analyst & Developer for ESG/Sustainability (f/m/d) - September 2026.

Task:

• Gather, analyse, and document technical and non-functional requirements, translating system constraints and architectural needs into detailed Technical Requirements Documents
• Facilitate IT activities including solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment in collaboration with internal teams and external vendors
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies related to ESG and Data Governance (eg BCBS239)
• Contribute to database design, including schema development, normalization, and optimization
• Work with architects and engineers to shape data pipelines, integration patterns, and metadata structures

Requirements:

• Longterm project experience as Technical Analyst & Developer for ESG/Sustainability within a financial institution
• Experience of Azure, Azure Data Factory, Databricks and good understanding of modern data platforms and IT frameworks
• Industry experience within finance, banking and/or insurance
• Great communication and presentation skills are a must (English)

Location: 50% remote, upon request onsite in London
