Role Overview
We re looking for an experienced Government IT Bids & Contracts Specialist to support proposal development, manage RFP/RFQ/RFI submissions, and build relationships with procurement teams across different states. This role is ideal for someone who understands how to find and win public-sector IT contracts. Local candidates only
Responsibilities

• Manage the full bidding process for IT staffing and consulting opportunities.
• Review solicitations, prepare proposals, and ensure compliance with requirements.
• Submit proposals through government procurement portals such as NJSTART, PASSPort, Bonfire, or similar systems.
• Build and maintain relationships with procurement and vendor management teams.
• Research new contract opportunities and maintain an active project pipeline.
• Support MWBE/SBE goals and programs as part of the bidding process.
  Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience working with government bids or contracts, preferably in IT staffing or services.
• Experience submitting and managing bids in multiple states (e.g., NJ, NY, or others).
• Familiarity with platforms like NJSTART, PASSPort, or Bonfire is preferred.
• Strong writing, organization, and communication skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
