IT Healthcare Consultant – Software Engineer / Systems Administrator

Location: Columbia, SC
Employment Type: Contract
 

Position Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced IT Healthcare Consultant to serve as a Team Lead for the Enterprise Applications team. This role will facilitate collaboration across teams and act as the primary escalation authority for complex technical issues involving cloud computing, systems engineering, networking, integrations, identity, and enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage Azure integrations and applications.

  • Manage Azure Active Directory configurations, user accounts, permissions, and groups.

  • Architect and maintain solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, and Copilot Studio.

  • Develop, configure, and troubleshoot Copilot Studio bots and AI-driven workflows.

  • Integrate third-party software with enterprise applications and systems.

  • Design and maintain solutions for seamless communication and data transfer between systems.

  • Provide technical support for third-party software issues.

  • Deploy system and infrastructure updates and maintain configuration documentation.

  • Lead complex escalations involving multi-vendor integration, messaging, identity, and cloud service issues.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand technical needs and implement IT solutions.

  • Work with security engineers to identify and remediate system vulnerabilities.

  • Train and mentor existing staff on new tools and technologies.

  • Document technical best practices, guides, and recommended system enhancements.

  • Serve as a technical SME and collaborate with system architects.

  • Oversee projects involving existing and newly acquired vendor software.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong Windows System/Server Administration experience.

  • Strong PowerShell scripting skills.

  • Extensive knowledge of Azure application permissions, Microsoft Graph API, App Registrations, and secret lifecycle management.

  • Experience architecting and integrating systems across cloud and on-premises environments.

  • Office 365 administration experience.

  • Azure Active Directory experience.

  • System Center Service Manager experience.

  • Experience with Cireson Web Portal for SCSM.

  • Strong Active Directory and PKI experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with DocuSign, Verizon, IronScales, Cisco Umbrella, Websense, Mobius View, Tableau, SQL Redgate, and SharePoint Online.

  • Macintosh experience.

  • VMware vSphere experience.

  • Microsoft SQL and Power BI experience.

  • Power Platform flows, connections, and application development.

  • VMware AirWatch.

  • System Center Orchestrator.

  • Copilot or equivalent LLM technologies.

  • ManageEngine ADManager and Self-Service Plus administration.

  • InformaCast experience.

Required Certifications

  • AI-900: Azure AI Fundamentals

  • DP-900: Azure Data Fundamentals

  • SANS-500: Securing Windows and PowerShell

  • Apple Certified Macintosh Technician

  • Security+ or higher
