Position Summary

4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Developers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for:

1. Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications and services using modern development frameworks.
2. Develop scalable microservices and APIs and integrate applications with cloud-based infrastructure.
3. Support application deployment and operations using containerization, orchestration, and cloud technologies.
4. Collaborate with technical and business teams on requirements, code reviews, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement across the software development lifecycle.
    

Minimum Qualifications

The position requires:

Education	Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience	6–10+ years of experience in Java software development, including enterprise applications, cloud technologies, and full-stack development.
Technical Skills	Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, AWS, REST APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, Identity & Access Management
Business / Domain Skills	Enterprise Application Development, Cloud Solutions, Software Architecture, Application Integration, Agile Development, DevOps Practices
Communication	Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.
Documentation	Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.
Work Authorization	Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience with identity and access management platforms or related enterprise security solutions.
2. Experience with AWS services and cloud-native application development.
3. Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools and practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
