Quality Engineer - Remote

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Quality Engineer - Remote position with a Major Healthcare Company located in Eagan, MN. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity.

Compensation: $59.30 - $69.30 per hour, W2, based on qualifications

Position Overview:
Seeking a Quality Engineer to support the Enrollment Integration team responsible for testing enterprise enrollment solutions and integrations across healthcare systems. This role will focus on validating APIs, backend services, enrollment transactions, file transfers, and enterprise integrations supporting Pega workflows, Facets, and related enrollment platforms. The Quality Engineer will partner with developers, solution architects, business analysts, and product teams to ensure high-quality enterprise application delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test strategies, test plans, and test cases
• Perform functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, and user acceptance testing
• Validate APIs, backend services, and enterprise integrations
• Test enrollment workflows and integration processes
• Validate EDI transactions and file transfers
• Support testing across Pega workflows and Facets integrations
• Partner with developers, Solution Architects, Product Owners, and Business Analysts
• Document defects and testing results using Jira/QMetry
• Participate in Agile delivery and release validation
• Support automation initiatives as appropriate

Primary Requirements:

• Healthcare industry experience
• Strong functional and integration testing experience
• API testing using Postman or similar tools
• Strong SQL skills
• Backend validation experience
• Enterprise integration testing
• Agile/Scrum experience
• Jira
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Desired Skills:

• Pega exposure (highly preferred)
• Facets experience
• EDI 834 enrollment transaction experience (highly preferred)
• GitLab
• Playwright or automation exposure
• AWS familiarity
• Experience with Postman, QMetry, and Tonic.ai
