Location- Alice Springs, Northern Territory, Australia.

Qualifications and experience

• Minimum experience as a technician for 3-5 years.
• We are looking for a person who can multi-task and fix a wide range of devices for our customers.
• No front sales is required as this role is dedicated to troubleshoot and repair phones, tablets & possibly other daily use gadgets.
• Current experience in repairing devices is required for this role.
• Micro soldering ability is not required, however an interest in learning these techniques would be highly desirable.

Requirements

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Using our computerised Jobticketing system to review repairs requested by customers.
• Speaking with staff to clarify repair details if needed.
• Troubleshooting & repairing a wide range of mobile phones, tablets, laptops and other devices.
• This may include replacing screens, charger ports, speakers, batteries, cameras & all small parts.
• Estimating and quoting non-standard repairs.
• Identifying special parts required to complete repairs (may involve speaking to parts suppliers).
• Testing functionality of repaired devices.
• Recording notes on job-sheets regarding repair, including noting parts used and operation of device testing after repair.
• Monitoring & maintaining spare parts inventory.
• Employer Sponsored Visa.
• Permanent Residency (PR) pathway after 3 years of employment.
