Profile Description

• We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Solution Architect with deep functional expertise in Supply Chain Planning and strong secondary expertise in Manufacturing processes, specifically within SAP PP-PI environments. The architect will serve as both a strategic advisor and hands-on functional leader, driving solution definition, business process alignment, and deployment strategies across two critical initiatives: Arkieva stabilization and optimization and a new plant implementation program.
• The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience leading end-to-end supply chain transformation initiatives, integrating planning platforms with SAP, and leveraging emerging AI-driven capabilities to accelerate solution deployment, stabilize operational environments, and improve decision-making. This role requires strong collaboration skills, business process consulting expertise, and Organizational Change Management (OCM) capabilities to influence stakeholders toward adopting standard SAP processes and minimizing customization.
• The architect will be fully accountable for requirements gathering, blueprint development, solution design, advisory services, and co-creation with both business and IT stakeholders. The individual must be capable of bridging business strategy with SAP-enabled solutions while providing thought leadership around AI-enabled supply chain planning and manufacturing optimization.

Key Responsibilities

1. Arkieva Stabilization and Strategic Improvement

• Assess the current Arkieva landscape and existing deployment challenges.
• Lead workshops with business and IT stakeholders to identify stabilization opportunities.
• Evaluate alternatives for faster, more efficient Arkieva deployment and adoption.
• Drive solution options leveraging AI capabilities to improve planning processes, forecasting, optimization, and decision support.
• Define integration strategies between Arkieva and SAP PP-PI.
• Provide thought leadership on emerging technologies and AI use cases within supply chain planning.
• Recommend roadmap options for reducing operational complexity and improving system effectiveness.

2. New Plant Discovery and Solution Architecture

• Lead discovery and requirements-gathering sessions with business stakeholders across the end-to-end supply chain and manufacturing landscape.
• Assess business capabilities required to support the new plant operation.
• Identify and map required SAP functionalities and modules to support future-state processes.
• Translate business requirements into scalable SAP solution designs.
• Evaluate existing SAP processes and capabilities for reuse across the new plant implementation.
• Drive standardization by influencing stakeholders to adopt existing SAP best practices whenever feasible.
• Minimize customization and change effort through process harmonization.
• Develop future-state business process architecture and operational models.

3. Solution Design and Blueprint Ownership

• Own and deliver all architecture and blueprint deliverables, including:
• Business requirements documentation
• Functional and solution design documents
• Architecture recommendations
• Deployment strategies
• Process models and fit-gap assessments
• Partner with Primient business and IT teams in a co-creation model.
• Ensure alignment between business objectives, operational requirements, and SAP capabilities.
• Provide architectural governance throughout discovery and design phases.
• Establish decision frameworks and solution evaluation criteria.

4. Supply Chain and Manufacturing Leadership

• Serve as the functional authority for supply chain planning processes.
• Provide expertise across:
• Production Planning (PP)
• Process Industries (PP-PI)
• Supply Chain Planning
• Integrated Business Planning concepts
• Manufacturing execution and production processes
• Inventory and materials planning
• Guide cross-functional integration across SAP modules supporting plant operations.

5. Stakeholder Management and Organizational Change

• Facilitate executive, business, and IT stakeholder workshops.
• Influence business teams toward standardized SAP processes.
• Drive consensus across multiple stakeholder groups.
• Support organizational change management activities.
• Communicate complex solution options in business-friendly language.
• Build alignment between current-state operations and future-state process objectives.
