Core Responsibilities
  • Insight Generation : Extract, clean, and analyze complex big data sets to discover patterns.
  • Dashboard Development : Build interactive, scalable BI dashboards using tools like Tableau or Power BI.
  • Data Modeling : Partner with Data Engineering to design dimensional models and robust data marts.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration : Translate intricate technical findings into simple business recommendations for executives.
  • Quality Assurance : Implement automated anomaly detection, data validation, and unit tests.
  • Team Mentorship : Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and training to junior data analysts.
  • Advanced Analytics : Conduct deep-dive analyses including cohort tracking, A/B testing, and causal inference.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Education : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, or Economics.
  • Experience : 10+ years of experience working as a data analyst or in a highly quantitative business role.
  • Database Programming : Advanced, expert-level SQL query optimization and ETL framework management.
  • Coding Proficiency : Strong scripting skills in Python or R for process automation and statistics.
  • BI Software : Mastery of data visualization platforms like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio.
  • Statistical Methods : Deep understanding of regression models, hypothesis testing, and data segmentation.
  • Soft Skills : Exceptional presentation ability to influence cross-functional leadership teams.
