HR & Recruitment Administrator

Job Description
Purpose of the Role
As RVM Systems scales ahead of the UK's Deposit Return Scheme rollout, we're looking for an organised, proactive HR & Recruitment Administrator to support the HR Manager with recruitment activity and wider HR administration as the business grows its office and field-based workforce.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment
- Support recruitment activity across the business, from posting vacancies through to offer stage
- Post vacancies on relevant job boards and platforms (e.g. LinkedIn), and liaise with recruitment agencies where required
- Screen CVs and applications, and coordinate interview scheduling with hiring managers
- Help draft and issue offer letters, and support pre-employment checks (references, right-to-work)
- Help maintain an up-to-date view of open vacancies and candidate pipelines, reporting progress to the HR Manager
- Support building a talent pipeline for hard-to-fill roles, particularly field engineering positions ahead of the DRS rollout.
- Support employer branding activity, including keeping job descriptions and careers-related content current
HR Administration:
- Support the on-boarding process for new starters, including preparing contracts and induction documentation
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring compliance with data protection requirements
- Support absence tracking, holiday records, and general HR administration
- Assist with probationary reviews and general HR process documentation
- Respond to routine employee queries, escalating more complex matters to the HR Manager as appropriate
Requirements
Essential:
- Previous experience in a recruitment, resourcing, or HR administration role
- Confident sourcing and screening candidates, including via LinkedIn and job boards
- Strong organisational skills, able to support multiple vacancies and pipelines simultaneously
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Discreet, trustworthy, and comfortable handling confidential information
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, including drafting professional candidate-facing correspondence
Desirable:
- Experience recruiting for field-based, engineering, or technical roles
- CIPD Level 3 (or working towards)
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) or recruitment platforms
- Experience in a business with a field-based/operational workforce
