Engineering Manager

We have partnered with a Liverpool-based SaaS business looking for an Engineering Manager to join its growing engineering team. Over the past decade, the business has supported some of the world's leading brands with data-driven intelligence that supports growth and decision-making. Following a period of strong expansion, they continue to invest in their engineering and data capabilities as they scale through 2026. You’ll lead a small, high-performing engineering team of 6, supporting technical delivery, mentoring engineers and working closely with Product and Tech Leads to develop modern web applications and APIs. What you'll do

• Lead and develop a team of 6+ software engineers across Azure/AWS serverless technologies.
• Own delivery, planning and technical priorities for the team.
• Work with Product and Tech Leads to shape architecture and technical roadmaps.
• Drive engineering best practices across quality, testing and observability.
• Support hiring, coaching, performance reviews and career development.
• Identify opportunities to improve tooling, automation and engineering processes.
• Introduce AI into the engineering function, helping the team identify practical ways to use AI across development, testing and delivery. What's in it for you
