About the Role
We are partnering with a leading North American food manufacturing company to identify a Master Data Management (MDM) Analyst for a contract-to-hire opportunity. Our client produces premium consumer food products across a growing network of production sites and relies on accurate, well-governed data to support day-to-day operations and continued expansion.
In this role, you will support the organization''s day-to-day Master Data Management activities under the guidance of the Senior Master Data Analyst. You''ll join a small, high-impact team operating in a fast-paced, high-volume environment where data accuracy directly influences business and financial outcomes. Processes are already established and well documented, giving you a strong foundation to step in and contribute quickly.
Job Description
As the MDM Analyst, you will help maintain the integrity, consistency, and accuracy of master data across the organization''s systems. The MDM team currently supports nine active sites—with two additional sites planned for Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) implementation—creating a significant volume of data and incoming requests. You will play a key part in keeping this data reliable while the team continues moving toward greater automation.

Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting daily Master Data Management setup and maintenance activities across multiple sites.
- Managing a high volume of incoming requests through the team''s MDM mailbox, which serves as the primary ticketing system.
- Maintaining data consistency, accuracy, and quality across complex and large data sets.
- Applying established data governance, validation, and quality standards to all work.
- Recognizing that data changes can carry financial impact and handling all updates with precision.
- Communicating with stakeholders at all levels—from warehouse personnel to executive leadership.
- Supporting new site implementations, projects, and new product development efforts as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of Master Data Management (MDM) experience.
- Strong Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) background.
- Heavy Microsoft Excel proficiency.
- Solid understanding of core data concepts, including:
- Data structures
- Data governance
- Data validation requirements
- Proven ability to maintain:
- Data consistency and accuracy
- Complex and high-volume data sets
- Awareness that data changes can have downstream financial impact.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data processing and validation.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to follow established conventions, processes, and validation standards.
- A strong team player who performs well under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Ability to work CST or EST business hours.
- Power BI and/or Power Apps experience.
- Familiarity with automation initiatives and experience helping transition manual processes toward automated workflows.
- Experience supporting multi-site or enterprise-level data environments.
- Familiarity with additional data management tools and database systems.
