We are currently seekingOOSH Assistantsto join the teams at several of our successful and well-established servicesacross theMaitland and Cessnockregions.
These opportunitieswill be offered on a casual basis, working across our before and after school programs and vacation care programs.
You must be available to work afternoon shifts at least twice a week.
As an OOSH Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Supervising children's play, ensuring their physical safety while promoting and guiding positive behaviour
- Assisting the developing and implementing programs that offer a diverse range of experiences to promote children's independence, social skills, learning, and development.
EXPERIENCE/CRITERIA
- Computer literacy in order to document examples of learning stories
- Experience in an OOSH service(desirable)
QUALIFICATIONS
- Working with Children Check verification number
- Current First Aid Certificate, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management training (desirable)
