ASAP Mandarin speaking Senior Technical Engineer-Newbury - What You'll be Doing:<br />•Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair of routers, switches, Wi-Fi devices, smart home products, and consumer electronics.<br />•Conduct system-level and component-level diagnostics, including PCB fault finding, power circuits, ports, firmware recovery, and hardware analysis.<br />•Handle complex, escalated, or high-priority repair cases and provide technical solutions.<br />•Support, coach, and guide product testers and junior engineers on difficult technical issues.<br />•Develop and share technical knowledge, repair procedures, and best practices within the team.<br />•Learn, implement, and adapt new repair methods and technologies introduced by overseas HQ.<br />•Assist in planning and allocating daily repair workload to ensure efficient operations and achievement of performance targets.<br />•Monitor repair quality, identify recurring technical issues, and recommend process improvements.<br />•Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement projects to improve repair efficiency and reduce failure rates.<br />•Assist with training and onboarding of new team members.<br />•Maintain ESD standards and ensure compliance with UK health &amp; safety and WEEE regulations.<br />•Provide regular feedback to management regarding technical challenges, team performance, and operational improvements.

Mandarin speaking Senior Technical Engineer-Newbury - The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:<br />•Hands-on experience in electronics repair/refurbishment, preferably with networking devices, smart home products, or consumer electronics.<br />•Strong skills in fault diagnosis, PCB repair, soldering, component replacement, firmware flashing, and device testing.<br />•Good understanding of networking fundamentals (IP, routing, Wi-Fi) and ability to read technical documentation.<br />•Experience handling complex repairs, root cause analysis, and implementing repair improvements.<br />•Ability to provide technical guidance, mentor junior engineers, and support team development.<br />•Experience coordinating repair workloads, maintaining quality standards, and improving operational efficiency.<br />•Previous experience supervising a technical team or workshop environment is desirable.<br />•Strong problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.<br />•Ability to work collaboratively with overseas HQ and local teams.<br />•Organised, proactive, and committed to high-quality repair standards.<br />•Mandarin Chinese language skills are an advantage
