Technical Sales Engineer | Stoughton, WI | Hybrid

The Role

  • Provide direct customer support for technical and proposal inquiries across four product lines: Hygienic valves and components, Aseptic valves and components, Cleaning Technology, and Hygienic Pumps.
  • Apply Fluid Dynamics concepts to determine optimal pump, valve, and cleaner specifications for hygienic applications.
  • Integrate correct communication or control modules with flow component products for seamless system design within customer environments.
  • Utilize specialized product sizing and selection software to choose appropriate pump and valve products.
  • Collaborate closely with European factories and US fabricators, managing special product transportation and logistics.
  • Work with Regional Sales Managers and Product Managers to generate and manage customer proposals and orders for the US market.

What You'll Need

  • 2-5 years of experience in application engineering and technical sales support.
  • Associate's degree or equivalent working knowledge.
  • Understanding of Fluid Dynamics and related industry practices.
  • Knowledge of sanitary liquid processing equipment and processes.
  • Familiarity with solenoid control technology and communication protocols.
  • Experience with product sizing and selection software and inventory management practices.
