Senior Staff Lead Radar Integration & Test Engineer | Central Square, NY, United States | Remote | $115,700 - $150,500 This employer is a leading defense and security company dedicated to helping nations maintain safety and security. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on critical surveillance systems vital for national security. The Role • Lead the integration and testing of surveillance systems, including radar, multilateration, and ADS-B for detection and tracking of aircraft. • Spearhead the planning and execution of verification and validation activities for key development radar programs. • Develop and execute complex software and hardware test plans and procedures for system-level testing. • Lead the development of test environments, tools, and complex integration activities. • Provide technical and programmatic leadership to internal and external customers. • Mentor and guide less experienced engineers, fostering technical growth within the team. What You'll Need • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or Mathematics; Master's degree is a plus. • 15+ years of experience in a technical environment, with a strong focus on Test Engineering. • Proven experience leading Developmental Test and Evaluation, Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT). • Demonstrated background in Radar systems integration and test activities, both hardware and software. • Hands-on experience with Radar systems and functional/performance testing. • Proficiency in C++, Linux, digital hardware, and MATLAB for tool development/analysis.
