Location: Paducah, Kentucky

Salary Range:$20.00 To $26.00 Hourly

Position Overview: We're seeking a Marine Shipyard Recruiter to place skilled trade professionals. This is ideal for someone with a deep understanding of shipyards and skilled trades, who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, screen and qualify skilled trade professionals including welders, fitters, electricians, pipefitters, riggers, marine joiners
  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process
  • Screen resumes, conduct interviews, verify certifications and work history
  • Handle onboarding, insurance, compliance, and new hire paperwork
  • Maintain talent pipelines and build strong candidate relationships
  • Provide outstanding customer service as the main point of contact for all workforce needs and concerns
  • Meet and check in new employees at the job site on their start date
  • Respond and provide transportation if an employee is injured on the job site
  • Make supply runs as needed to support field operations
  • Work closely with internal teams to meet client needs
  • Prepare weekly employment reports and support team goals

About You:

  • 3+ years of recruiting experience (industrial, marine, or skilled trades sector - shipyard experience preferred)
  • Knowledge of shipyard crafts
  • Goal-oriented, self-driven, energetic, and resilient with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable working in sales, customer service, or similar people-focused environments
  • Proficient in time management and computer skills (Microsoft Office; ATS)
  • Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver's license required for site visits, employee transport, and supply runs (mileage reimbursed)
  • Comfortable spending time on active shipyard and industrial worksites, not just in an office setting
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
