Location: New York City, NY (Hybrid/Onsite)

Job Type: Long term contract

• Client is looking for an experienced ServiceNow Compliance Contractor to support their enterprise compliance and risk management initiatives.
• You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the ServiceNow platform aligns with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX, GDPR, HIPAA).
• This role involves configuration, process design, documentation, and audit support within the ServiceNow GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) suite.

Responsibilities

• Implement and configure ServiceNow GRC modules to support compliance frameworks and controls.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to design, document, and optimize compliance workflows and processes.
• Map regulatory requirements to ServiceNow controls and monitor their effectiveness.
• Support compliance assessments, audits, and evidence collection using ServiceNow tools.
• Maintain compliance documentation, policies, and control matrices within the platform.
• Identify and remediate gaps in compliance posture, working with IT, Security, and Legal teams.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in relevant regulations and advise on platform updates to remain compliant.
• Train and support end-users on compliance processes within ServiceNow.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
• 3+ years hands-on experience in ServiceNow, with a focus on GRC or Security Operations modules.
• Strong understanding of compliance standards (SOX, GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001, etc.).
• Experience with compliance frameworks, risk management, and audit processes.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into technical configurations and workflows.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified Implementation Specialist - GRC) preferred.
• Experience working in highly regulated industries (finance, healthcare, etc.) is a plus.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and be located in the NYC area.
