The Opportunity
As a Chartered Financial Planner, you will take responsibility for managing and developing a portfolio of high-quality clients while working closely with a highly qualified and collaborative team. You will inherit existing relationships as well as benefit from a range of business development initiatives designed to support ongoing growth.
This role is ideally suited to a planner who enjoys building long-term trusted relationships and is motivated by the opportunity to influence the future direction of a growing business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop an existing portfolio of private clients
- Build and maintain long-term, trusted client relationships
- Deliver tailored, holistic financial planning advice across a range of planning areas
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through referrals, professional connections, and company-generated leads
- Maintain high standards of compliance and client service
- Work collaboratively with paraplanning, administration, and investment teams
- Contribute to the growth and development of the wider advisory team
- Progress towards future leadership and mentoring responsibilities
About You
- Chartered Financial Planner status (Level 6) essential
- Previous experience in a client-facing financial planning role
- Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, protection, and retirement planning
- Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Commercially minded with a track record of developing new business
- Professional, ethical, and client-focused approach
- Ambitious and keen to progress into a leadership position
