The Role • Drive advertising sales by developing long-term relationships with clients in an assigned territory. • Meet and exceed sales objectives using professional sales techniques and a deep understanding of marketing's connection to sales. • Actively target new businesses and service existing Lamar clients and competitor clients within a specified timeframe. • Utilize company tools to locate prospects, follow up on leads, prepare proposals, and conduct market research. • Develop and present compelling advertising solutions to clients, leveraging the company's diverse advertising platforms. • Participate in sales meetings, regional events, trade shows, and ongoing training to enhance selling skills and product knowledge. What You'll Need • Minimum of 5 years of proven sales or media experience, with a focus on selling high-end B2B products. • Comfort with making cold calls both over the phone and in-person. • Ability to deliver clear oral presentations and articulate policies effectively. • Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively, self-organize, and adapt to fluctuating workloads. • Resilience and intrinsic motivation to overcome challenges, meet goals, and handle rejection professionally. • A valid Driver's License and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
