Job Description

Automotive Electrician | Berlin, Germany | On-site We are seeking skilled automotive electricians to join the maintenance teams for our extensive bus fleet. As a vital part of the city's public transportation, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our vehicles, contributing to an eco-friendly and efficient urban mobility system. The Role • Perform system and fault analyses, and diagnostic work using various measuring, testing, and diagnostic equipment. • Conduct inspections of vehicles, equipment, and components, including vehicle control systems, air conditioning regulations, and door electronics. • Investigate technical causes of vehicle or equipment failures and develop solutions for corrective and preventive measures. • Maintain, diagnose, and repair high-voltage systems in buses. • Prepare work and inspection instructions and perform test and acceptance drives if qualified. What You'll Need • Completed technical vocational training (e.g., as an automotive mechatronics technician, automotive electrician, or electronics technician for operational, integration, and system technology, or comparable training with knowledge in automotive technology/electronics). • Knowledge of maintenance processes and electronic vehicle systems. • Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays. • Ability to perform diagnostic work and repairs on diesel and electric buses.
