DevOps Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Platform/DevOps Engineer with extensive experience in CI/CD processes, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Kubernetes, and Docker. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps practices and will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions. This role requires a proactive individual who can work collaboratively with development and operations teams to enhance our deployment pipelines and improve overall system performance.
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions to automate deployment processes.
Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring high availability and scalability.
Collaborate with development teams to define and implement best practices for DevOps methodologies.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation of applications and infrastructure.
Implement security best practices in the CI/CD pipeline and container orchestration.
Document processes, configurations, and workflows to ensure knowledge sharing and compliance.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our DevOps practices.
Mandatory Skills:
Proven experience in DevOps practices and methodologies.
Strong proficiency in CI/CD tools, specifically Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
Hands-on experience with containerization technologies, particularly Docker.
Expertise in Kubernetes for orchestration and management of containerized applications.
Solid understanding of version control systems, especially Git.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) for automation tasks.
Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
10-15 years of relevant experience in DevOps or Platform Engineering roles.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
