Job description

Looking for a marketing role that fits around your life?

We're looking for a creative, organised and commercially minded part-time Communications & Marketing Executive to join our growing team in Cardiff.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced marketing professional who enjoys variety, wants to make a tangible difference and is looking for a role with a genuine part-time commitment.

Working closely with our team, you'll help raise our profile, communicate what makes our business different and support our continued growth. From creating engaging content and delivering targeted campaigns to managing CRM activity and supporting business development, you'll have the opportunity to use your marketing skills across a range of activities.

We're looking for someone who can take ownership of their work, bring fresh ideas and turn complex or technical information into clear, compelling communications.

The role is 20 hours per week, making it well suited to someone looking for a better work-life balance, returning to work, balancing other commitments or simply preferring a part-time position.

Duties:
Content & Communications
  • Create engaging content for our website, email campaigns, social media and marketing materials.
  • Turn information from colleagues into clear, professional and interesting client-facing content.
  • Help maintain a consistent brand and tone of voice.

Marketing Campaigns & Brand Awareness
  • Plan and deliver targeted marketing campaigns to promote our services and reach new audiences.
  • Identify opportunities to raise our profile and strengthen our market presence.
  • Research relevant sectors, target markets and prospective clients.

CRM & Business Development Support
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and support targeted communications.
  • Help generate leads and support client engagement and retention.
  • Prepare marketing materials for proposals, presentations and business development activities.

Events & Marketing Performance
  • Support the promotion and organisation of events, seminars and networking opportunities.
  • Monitor campaign results, email engagement and website activity.
  • Use insights and feedback to help improve future marketing activity.

Experience and Skills:

You'll be a proactive and capable marketing professional who enjoys getting things done and is comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively.

You'll ideally have:

  • Experience in a marketing, communications or content-focused role, preferably within professional services or a B2B environment.
  • Excellent writing, editing, proofreading and research skills.
  • The ability to turn complex information into clear, engaging content.
  • Experience using digital marketing channels, email campaigns and CRM systems.
  • Good organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • A practical, positive approach and the confidence to suggest new ideas.

A relevant degree or equivalent qualification would be welcome, but we're particularly interested in your experience, skills and ability to deliver effective marketing.

Why join us?
  • A genuine part-time role: 20 hours per week, with a manageable scope of responsibility.
  • Competitive pro-rata salary: 30,000 full-time equivalent, with the actual salary calculated according to our standard full-time working week.
  • Varied work: An opportunity to use your creative, communication and marketing skills across different channels.
  • Real influence: The chance to contribute ideas, take ownership and see the results of your work.
  • A collaborative team: Work closely with colleagues who value effective communication and marketing.
  • Excellent benefits: Alongside your salary, we offer an attractive benefits package.
