About the Role

Were working with an established organisation that is looking for a mid-level Full Stack Developer to join its engineering team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a developer with solid commercial experience who enjoys working across both front-end and back-end technologies and is ready to take increasing ownership of the software they build.

The Role

As a Full Stack Developer, youll contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of core software platforms.

Youll work across the full technology stack, delivering new features as well as maintaining and improving existing production systems.

Youll work independently on well-defined problems while collaborating closely with other engineers and teams across the organisation.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design, develop, test and maintain software across the full stack
• Build new features and enhancements for core platforms
• Contribute to both front-end and back-end development
• Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code
• Participate in code reviews, pair programming and collaborative problem solving
• Investigate, diagnose and resolve defects and production issues
• Contribute to automated testing and improving software quality
• Work within established architectures and contribute to their evolution
• Collaborate with Product, Delivery and Operations teams
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing
• Take ownership of your work from development through to delivery

What We're Looking For

Were looking for someone with approximately 5-7 years of commercial software development experience who is comfortable working across the full stack.

Youll ideally have:

• Strong commercial experience as a software developer
• Experience working on live/production systems
• Good knowledge of C#/.NET, JavaScript/React and SQL, with particular strength in at least some of these technologies
• Experience working across both front-end and back-end development
• A good understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including testing, version control and clean code
• Experience working within an established architecture and contributing to its improvement
• The ability to take requirements and turn them into practical, maintainable technical solutions
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• A willingness to solve problems, learn and take ownership

Nice to Have

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern development tooling
• Exposure to DevOps practices and continuous delivery
• Experience with cloud technologies
• Experience improving or maintaining automated test suites

Working Environment

The team operates a hybrid working model, combining remote working with regular in-person collaboration.

For this role, youll be expected to work from the London office 2 days per week, with the remaining working days available remotely.
