Job Description

Our Digital team is at the forefront of our digitalisation strategy, driving future scalability and unlocking operational efficiencies, while upholding our risk standard and improving the experiences of our colleagues and clients. Our teams help to unlock these strategic benefits by defining, delivering and embedding digital solutions across our value chain, working in partnership with key stakeholders across the business.

We are a global financial services group operating in 30 markets with 57 years of unbroken profitability. At Macquarie, you're empowered to shape a career that is fulfilling and creates value. You will bring your insights and expertise to the task at hand and feel supported as you make your own kind of impact for a better future.

What role will you play?

As an Associate Business Analyst within our Real Assets Digital team, you will support the delivery of digital solutions that enhance how Investment Professionals manage the investment lifecycle. You will help gather and document business requirements, assist in analysing existing processes, and support the team in identifying opportunities to improve data flows and integration across our internal digital platforms.

Working closely with senior Business Analysts, product managers, and technology partners, you will help translate business needs into clear requirements, support user acceptance testing, and contribute to documentation that keeps our knowledge base current.

This is a hands-on role offering exposure to a broad range of stakeholders and platforms, with the opportunity to build your analytical and delivery skills within a supportive team.

What you offer

  • 3-5 years' experience as a Business Analyst within financial services; experience within Private Markets is highly advantageous
  • Experience in an agile environment, with hands-on use of Jira and Confluence, and preferably exposure to working in cross-disciplined teams and across global time zones
  • Adept at gathering business requirements directly from end users and translating them into clear, well-documented user stories; comfortable with supporting user acceptance testing; and able to contribute ideas for new platform features
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging a wide range of internal stakeholders
  • Analytical and problem solving skills; exposure to data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel and Power BI is advantageous, as is an interest in how AI-enabled solutions can improve investment operations
We love hearing from anyone inspired to build a better future with us, if you're excited about the role or working at Macquarie we encourage you to apply.

What we offer

At Macquarie, you're empowered to shape a career that's rewarding in all the ways that matter most to you. Macquarie employees can access a wide range of benefits which, depending on eligibility criteria, include:

  • 26 weeks' paid parental leave for primary caregivers along with 12 days of paid transition leave upon return to work and 6 weeks' paid leave for secondary caregivers

  • Benefits and initiatives to support your physical, mental and financial wellbeing including, comprehensive medical and life insurance cover
  • Access to our Employee Assistance Program, a robust behavioural health network with counselling and coaching services
  • Access to a wide range of learning and development opportunities, including reimbursement for professional membership or subscription
  • Access to company funded emergency and backup dependent care services
  • Recognition and service awards
  • Hybrid and flexible working arrangements, dependent on role
