Job Description
Taylor Management Company is seeking an experienced, professional, and service-oriented Property Manager for an active adult condominium community in Manalapan, New Jersey.
The Property Manager will oversee the community’s daily operations, serve as the primary liaison between residents, the Board of Trustees, vendors, and management, and ensure that the property is maintained and operated efficiently. Salary $90,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the community’s day-to-day operations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for residents and the Board
- Attend and assist with Board and community meetings
- Prepare management reports, meeting materials, and correspondence
- Coordinate and supervise contractors, vendors, maintenance, and capital projects
- Obtain proposals and monitor vendor performance
- Conduct regular property inspections and follow up on maintenance concerns
- Assist with budget preparation, financial review, and invoice approval
- Enforce the Association’s governing documents, rules, and regulations
- Respond promptly and professionally to resident questions and concerns
- Oversee clubhouse, recreational facilities, and community activities as applicable
- Maintain accurate records and ensure timely communication with the Board and residents
Qualifications:
- Minimum of three years of community association or property management experience preferred
- Experience managing an active adult or condominium community is strongly preferred
- Strong written, verbal, organizational, and customer-service skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities independently
- Knowledge of vendor management, budgeting, maintenance operations, and Board governance
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property-management software
- Professional, patient, and comfortable working closely with residents in a 55+ community
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
