Maintenance Engineer - Days

Salary up to £48,000 | Wrexham | Monday-Friday Days

Are you a Maintenance Engineer looking for a days-based role with an excellent work-life balance? We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturer that is investing in its people, equipment and production facilities. The Role

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across production machinery.
• Respond quickly and effectively to equipment breakdowns.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults, with basic electrical fault-finding where required.
• Maintain conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, motors, chains, belts, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Strip, repair and rebuild mechanical assemblies.
• Read and work from engineering drawings.
• Support machinery improvements and reliability projects.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong mechanical fault-finding and repair skills.
• Basic electrical maintenance experience.
• Experience working with industrial manufacturing machinery.
• A proactive approach and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

What's on Offer

• Salary of £45,000-£48,000.
• Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm.
• 1 in 4 Saturdays (6-hour shift) with time off in lieu the following week.
