Job description

Are you a proactive recruiter who enjoys building relationships, finding solutions and making a genuine difference to how recruitment is delivered?

Talent Acquisition Advisor

Location: Northamptonshire
Working Pattern: Hybrid
Contract: Permanent
Salary: Competitive + bonus + benefits

The Opportunity

We're working with an established FMCG business to recruit an experienced Talent Acquisition Advisor.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys the relationship-building side of recruitment, takes ownership and wants to play a meaningful role in how talent is attracted and recruited across a business.

You'll work closely with hiring managers across different functions, understanding their requirements, providing recruitment expertise and ensuring a proactive, effective approach to finding the right people.

This isn't just about managing vacancies. It's about building trust, challenging thinking where appropriate and helping deliver a better recruitment experience for everyone involved.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build strong relationships with hiring managers, acting as a trusted recruitment partner.

  • Manage recruitment activity across a variety of specialist and professional positions.

  • Proactively identify and engage candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing channels.

  • Work effectively with external recruitment partners and agencies.

  • Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, providing updates, advice and market insight.

  • Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes, candidate attraction and overall effectiveness.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone with solid recruitment experience, either agency or in-house, who enjoys taking ownership and making things happen.

Ideally, you'll bring:

  • Recruitment experience within FMCG, manufacturing, logistics, engineering or another fast-paced operational environment.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the confidence to build relationships at different levels.

  • Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, direct sourcing and other candidate attraction methods.

  • Excellent organisation, communication and the ability to manage competing priorities.

  • A proactive, practical mindset with the confidence to suggest different approaches and improve how things are done.

More important than following a rigid recruitment process is your ability to think independently, build relationships and deliver results.

Why Join?

This is an opportunity to join an established FMCG business where recruitment plays an important role in supporting wider business success.

You'll have the chance to build meaningful relationships, contribute new ideas and influence how recruitment is delivered.

The business offers hybrid working, a performance-related bonus, 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays (pro rata), and an excellent pension scheme.

There's also potential for longer-term development as the business continues to evolve.
