Job Description

  • We are looking for a strong Senior Databricks Engineer with deep hands-on experience building and optimizing enterprise-scale data pipelines on the Databricks platform.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Databricks, PySpark, Spark, SQL, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and cloud data platforms, with proven experience working in production environments.

 

Required Skills

  • 10+ years of strong hands-on Databricks experience
  • Expert-level PySpark and Apache Spark
  • Advanced SQL
  • Strong experience with Delta Lake
  • Hands-on experience with Unity Catalog
  • Databricks Workflows / Jobs
  • Experience building scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines
  • Strong knowledge of Lakehouse / Medallion Architecture
  • Experience with Spark performance tuning and optimization
  • Hands-on experience with incremental processing, CDC and SCD Type 1/2
  • Experience with at least one cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
  • Strong understanding of data quality, troubleshooting, and production support
