Job Description

 

Senior Oracle DBA – Environmental Forecasting

Duration: 8-Month Contract
Location: 100% Remote – CST Hours 

Must have LinkedIn and provide 2 professional references along with their LinkedIn as well.

 

Ideal Candidate:
Senior-level Oracle DBA with strong hands-on Oracle + Exadata + OCI experience who can work independently with minimal oversight.

Technical Stack:
Oracle 11g | Oracle 19c | Oracle Exadata | OCI | Oracle RAC | ASM | RMAN | GoldenGate | AWR | SQL | Terraform/IaC | Ansible | OCI Automation

 

Role:
Seeking a strong Senior Oracle DBA to independently support Oracle production/non-production environments and contribute to an ongoing Exadata → OCI migration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Oracle 11g/19c, Exadata, RAC & ASM
  • Tablespace/ASM capacity management
  • Backup & recovery using RMAN
  • Database/Grid Infrastructure patching
  • Production changes, monitoring & operational support
  • AWR / SQL performance troubleshooting
  • User, role & security administration
  • Support Oracle GoldenGate replication and troubleshooting
  • Assist with Exadata → OCI migration/modernization
