Job Description
Expert are working in partnership with this Co Tyrone based client to recruit a Contracts Manager. This is a critical role for our client and as such only candidates that meet all of the specified criteria need apply. Over the years, our Client have successfully completed a wide range of construction projects for both the public and private sectors, developing a pragmatic approach to building contracts and project delivery. They have a "right first time " attitude that has led to their fantastic reputation within the UK Construction sector. The successful applicant will be responsible for the delivery of projects, both within budget and to the highest quality standards. ALL PROJECTS ARE LOCATED IN NORTHERN IRELAND / ULSTER Projects: Commercial, Education, Civils Location - Tyrone, Donegal, Derry, Fermanagh Applicants are expected to have at least 3-5 years experience in a Contracts Management role. Main duties include: Daily management of Site Managers Attending client meetings , all in NI . Programming and Planning of works Preparing materials take offs for each project Agreeing design specifications Overseeing the preparation of design drawings in conjunction with CAD technicians. Preparing design, manufacture and installation programs Liaising with production and site management to deliver the final goods Attending project handover meetings with clients. Agreeing variations and valuations Managing overheads / all relevant costs The position will have a 50 / 50 split between Office and Site. It is expected that the potential candidate will have proficient IT skills including Microsoft office and ideally AutoCAD. Also, a background in Project and Site Management would be desirable.
